They want to break down the traditional silos that have divided the workforce, management and factories for decades, and transform the industrial world forever.
Their mission is ambitious and so are their plans for growth. Within months of launching, they already boast several clients, from family-owned businesses to multinational corporations with plants located around the world. They quickly realized that an old school spreadsheet model would not meet their needs, and a centralized, web-based platform was central to how they would run manage their sales operations, interact with international partners, manage their finances and ultimately, run their business.
Having decided to invest in the Salesforce platform as their CRM system, they turned to Nubik, for help in configuring and launching Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and FinancialForce. Poka’s decision was grounded on the fact of having a partner with local, Quebec presence, would work in French, and would guide them through the details of the implementation. Equally, they wanted a partner who would take the time to fully understand the unique needs of a high-growth start-up in the high-tech, manufacturing industry.
Leaning on Nubik’s experienced team, Poka was able to define their opportunity process, who were Poka’s customers and partners, and who should have access to what types of information. Poka benefited not just from configuration, but also from best practices. Nubik would sometimes challenge Poka to think outside the box to improve their existing processes. Poka benefited from many tips on how to optimize their processes, and where to apply automation to increase their efficiency along the way.
Once Salesforce was configured, launched and optimized, Poka turned their sights to FinancialForce. Built on top of Salesforce, the Financial Management system delivers closed loop reporting and insight from opportunities to revenues. They worked closely with Nubik to configure the system, build the reports and launch a robust system.
Throughout the process, Poka was guided through a structured sequence of workshops that kept them on track with all the decisions they needed to make. They worked closely with the Nubik team, speaking weekly or sometimes more when they had questions. Nubik was always very proactive, and drove the interaction with the FinancialForce team, providing quick response times when needed.
Poka benefited from more than just configuration. They had direct experience with a Salesforce powerhouse that brought them to a new level in their sales and financial processes. As they continue to grow, there will surely be new opportunities to leverage the skills and experience that Nubik brings to the platform.
